Remington Model 121 Fieldmaster "Smoothbore", .22 cal. short, long or long rifle cal. pump action rifle. Serial #30178, mfg. 1952. Very good condition. Unique 23" barrel with last section in wide "Routledge" type smoothbore that resulted in better patterns for the notoriously fickle .22 shot cartridges. Bead front sight. Barrel is marked "Smoothbore" and ".22 cal. short, long or long rifle." Bluing on receiver and barrel is 98%, but wear on magazine tube and on slide action parts. Buttstock has quite a few marks (see photo). Some slight corrosion on right side of receiver. Unique little smoothbore! C&R OK.
