Winchester Model 42 Skeet, .410 ga. pump action shotgun. Serial #163473, mfg. 1965. Excellent condition. One of the last Model 42's out of the plant in the mid-1960's and was most probably a "clean-up" gun comprised of earlier parts. 26" Simmons vent rib which is correct for this period (the guns were sent to Simmons in Kansas for installation of ribs, bluing and final assembly). Choked "Skeet" and so marked on barrel. Bluing is 98% and nice. Orange front bead. Stock looks like it's been refnished - checkering is smooth and it is without pistol grip cap. Winchester plastic buttplate. Excellent bore, works well. Hard one to find! Very desirable!
